Gehendra shumsher was the son of the rana prime minister. bir shumsher.he was born in poush 1928 BS....
he recived his primary education frome darbar high school.as a child,he was very different and was creative and serious in his work....

his interest in  cluded new inventions,music,sport,and physical exercise.as sushhespent most of his time working and being creative in the seareas..

though he was young,he was in charge of the arms and ammunition of the nepal army by his father


when his father become the primeminsiter of nepal in 1942 BSthe door of opportunity opened for him

now hecould work in dependently and used his creative ideas.he received more opportunity encoura gementand inspiration to carry on with his work.

he started to many  facture essential arms ammunition and other ting like shoes electricity rice mills,wind mills,etc for the nepal army

he established factories for products at jamal sundari jand thous ramechhap

he encouraged the used of soal and iron found in our country for making  arms and weaponsrather than importaint them frome other countries...
